Intellifluence is an influencer marketing service that enables you to get free products or cash in exchange for your reviews. It’s easy to join Intellifluence as an Influencer – and it’s completely free. You’ll notice that we repeat this over and over. And for a good reason…
Many Influencers are looking for the catch, and we understand why. The vast majority of influencer marketing services charge influencers to join or take a portion of what you earn. That is not the case with Intellifluence. It’s completely free for you to use as an influencer and that will never change.
Join With Confidence
We also recently introduced Intellifluence Payments backed by The Intellifluence Promise, so you can be confident you will be paid for the work you complete when it adheres to the terms of the agreement with the Brand.
So now that we have that out of the way, let’s walk through the simple registration process.
From the Influencers page on Intellifluence.com, click the Join for free button. Enter your first name and your last name as well as your e-mail address and then create a password.
At this point, you are able to read our Terms of Service where we discuss important things related to participating in Intellifluence transactions with brands including prohibited items. It is important to note that you need to be at least thirteen years of age in order to join Intellifluence and if you are under the age of eighteen, you need to have the permission of a parent or guardian in order to sign up.
Once you accept the Terms of Service, click the Register button to proceed. During the next step, you are going to enter some personal information to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Upload a profile photo that best represents you as a unique Influencer. Choose your time zone, country and enter your mailing address.
We have you do this upfront so that when you choose to initiate a transaction with a Brand and the time comes for them to send you their product, you can easily share your mailing address with one click. It’s important to note that we value your privacy and your address is hidden from public view. Your mailing address will only be visible to a specific brand when you elect to share it. The same rules apply for your mobile phone number.
Tell Us All About Yourself
At this point, it’s time to write out a bio that introduces yourself and highlights all of your interests, specialties and areas of expertise (spend some time thinking about your niche, or something that you know like the back of your hand). We want to stress that your bio should be thorough and interesting. Think of it as a mashup of your resume and online dating profile! Your bio should stand out to Brands and make them want to accept your Marketplace applications as well as send you pitches. Once you have written your full bio, it’s time to choose up to 5 categories that best represent your niche so that you’ll receive relevant pitches from brands. Next, you’re going to specify how you want to be compensated, and the minimum you’re willing to accept for your work.
First, specify the type of payment or compensation you are looking to receive for your work. Basically, choose if you are prefer to accept free product, cash payment or both. Then, based on what you specified, set the minimum value or values you are willing to accept for the work you do. For example, let’s say you selected both, so you’re looking for free product and cash payment. All you need to do is set the minimum value for the free product to represent the minimum retail value you are willing to accept in product. Let’s say you only want to accept products worth $100 or more. Set the value to $100. The same goes for the cash payment value. If you want to be paid $50 or more for your work, you would set it to $50.
In this example, you will only be visible to brands searching for Influencers who will accept free product with a retail value of $100 or more and who are willing to also receive $50 or more for a review or social media post. Something to think about when establishing these values: The lower you set them, the more pitches from Brands you are likely to receive. If you’re not getting a desired amount of pitches from brands, you might want to think about lowering the values in this section, at least to test it out for a while. You can change them at any time, so there’s no pressure at all.
Specify How You Want to Get Paid
Next, adding your PayPal e-mail address will enable you to participate in Intellifluence Payments transactions. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can sign up for free at Paypal.com or you can download the app and go from there. Next, add every social media account (in addition to your Amazon review account, blog(s), podcast link, etc) you have that’s included in this drop down list. Let’s say you’re a Top Facebook Influencer – our Brands want to know about it!
Some services require a simple authorization while others just require a valid URL. You want to ensure that you have added every account possible so our Brands are able to an accurate picture of your total audience reach. Having a larger audience size will definitely help your cause and encourage better pitches. Lastly, we ask for some additional information to enhance your Intellifluence experience. This information isn’t required, but we recommend filling this section in so you can get the most of our service.
Click save, then you are done! So what happens next? While you are waiting on brands to send you pitches, we highly recommend you head over to the Marketplace to check out campaigns that brands have made open to the public. If you see offers you like, you can apply on the spot. Also, complete the necessary tasks to boost your profile strength. We highly recommend you check out our Knowledge Base article on getting the most out of the Marketplace.
Thank you for joining Intellifluence as an Influencer and we look forward to helping you reach your influencer marketing goals!
