We get it, there are a lot of options out there. Read on to learn how Intellifluence is the best option for your company!
Intellifluence vs. AspirelQ:
Where’s the upfront plan pricing and payments solution?
In today’s world, we want answers and we want them quickly. For this reason, we scratch our heads when competing influencer marketing companies such as AspireIQ (formerly Revfluence) hide their pricing. In fact, 80% of the competitors we researched do not display their pricing on their site. This means you have to contact the company directly or go through a demo call to get your questions answered. We have nothing to hide when it comes to our pricing, so we proudly display it on our pricing page. This way you’ll know exactly how much a subscription to Intellifluence costs on a monthly or annual basis.
Beyond the hidden pricing, you will notice that AspireIQ doesn’t support social networks such as Pinterest, Twitch, LinkedIn and Soundcloud. Furthermore, this competing service doesn’t support Amazon reviews, iOS and Android marketplace reviews or podcasts – so you’re limited to the standard social platforms. Perhaps even more concerning is the fact that you can’t tell how large their network is, because they do not display their network size. Additionally, we were unable to determine if AspireIQ is a warm or cold network (Intellifluence is a warm network), which makes a big different. If a platform such as Intellifluence advertises they are a warm network, this means each influencer has joined the network on their own and are waiting to hear from brands. A cold network could be a standard industry database and the influencers are not necessarily affiliated with (or knowledgeable about) the specific platform.
If you’re looking for a platform payments solution (a way for the platform to handle compensating the influencer rather than you directly), you probably won’t find it here. As of this writing, AspireIQ doesn’t offer a payments service, which means you will have to arrange a way to compensate the influence outside of the platform. Intellifluence offers a simple Payments solution backed by the Intellifluence Promise, so you can be confident Influencers are only paid once you have approved their work and the transaction goes through a QC period.
Finally, AspireIQ seems to have a messaging system in place, but you will likely still need to use e-mail to communicate with Influencers. E-mail has its place, but not within an influencer platform! We built a custom internal messaging system so all of your communication with influencers lives in one spot. If you have ever tried to manage multiple influencer e-mail threads, you’ll know exactly why a platform that doesn’t offer a messaging solution (such as Intellifluence) might be a deal breaker.
Intellifluence vs. IZEA:
Two is not necessarily better than one
If you’re looking to start using influencer marketing, chances are you will want the ability to do two things: Discover influencers and manage your interactions with them. Intellifluence is an end-to-end platform, which means you can create campaigns, discover influencers, post public offers, communicate and complete transactions with influencers in one spot. When researching IZEA, we noticed they offer a discovery product separate from their influencer marketing suite. This means you’ll have to pay more if you want the ability to do more than simply search Influencers. In fact, their influencer discovery subscription costs more than the intro plan on Intellifluence (the latter allows you to handle all aspects of your influencer marketing campaigns). With IZEA, if you want similar capabilities, you will have to opt for their unity suite.
If you opt for the IZEA discovery tool subscription (which costs more than the Intellifluence intro plan), you are limited to 100 searches per month. With Intellifluence, you can perform unlimited searches on a monthly basis, no matter which plan you choose. The Intellifluence Discover tool makes it easy to search the entire network of Influencers and filter by an array of options so you can confidently find the best influencers to pitch. Knowing that you can perform unlimited influencer searches using Intellifluence makes all the difference.
Unfortunately, IZEA does not provide upfront pricing for the suite, so you will have to go through a product demo in order to plan accordingly. Speaking of upfront pricing, we wouldn’t dream of making you jump through hoops to find out how much it will cost to use our service. From day one, our pricing has been laid out in a simple manner along with the features for each one of our plans. This means you won’t have to go through a demo to see how much we cost – although we will happily offer you a free demo of our service at any time!
IZEA is like most other influencer marketing platforms in that you are limited to several social media platforms as well as blogs. Intellifluence supports those as well as YouTube, LinkedIn, Soundcloud, Twitch, Amazon reviews, iOS and Android marketplace reviews and podcasts. When it comes to influencer marketing, having options is a great thing.
If you are looking to accurately assess which influencer platform will work best for your business, it’s hard to do with an option such as IZEA, which hides a lot of their details behind a required demo. We don’t blame you if this is frustrating – we invite you to take a look at our different plans and choose the option that fits you best.
Intellifluence vs. TRIBE:
Who offers more flexibility?
If you are looking to ship physical products for influencers to review, you might be disappointed to learn that TRIBE doesn’t support this in most instances. Per TRIBE’s FAQs, the platform doesn’t recommend sending products for influencers to sample and post about. Furthermore, you aren’t able to pay influencers with products when using TRIBE. While this may seem to encourage authenticity on the surface, it’s not desirable for brands that are looking to get early, honest feedback on products while promoting it to diverse influencer audiences. Intellifluence gives brands flexibility to decide which method of compensation works best.
While many brands that use Intellifluence offer cash compensation, they also have the flexibility to create product-only campaigns. In short, if you’re looking for a platform that allows you to simply offer product for review, TRIBE might not be the best option for you.
Next, if your looking to promote your product across a wide social media landscape, you should know that TRIBE only supports Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on their influencer platform. If you’re looking to work with influencers on YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Soundcloud, Twitch, Amazon reviews, iOS, Android, blogs and podcasts, consider an influencer marketing platform such as Intellifluence that gives you a lot more flexibility when it comes to review services.
Let’s say you are looking to personally vet influencers before you work with them. TRIBE doesn’t include a traditional influencer network that you can search, such as the Intellifluence Discover tool. When using the Intellifluence Discover tool to find the best influencers, we automatically apply filters based on your campaign details so as soon as you are finished setting up your campaign, you have access to all of the relevant influencers that would be a good fit. It’s a self-service approach that takes so much of the guesswork and required time out of the equation.
If you want to open your campaign up so influencers can apply to be a part of it, we offer that functionality as well with our Intellifluence Marketplace. With TRIBE, you are charged 30% of the amount you pay influencers for each post. With Intellifluence, you will only pay a nominal 10% on top of any cash you pay influencers when utilizing our popular Payments solution. You’ll never pay a fee on transactions where you are offering products. If you are running a lot of influencer campaigns, you can imagine how quickly the costs will accumulate when you factor in a 30% fee charged by TRIBE. When it comes to flexibility, you simply can’t beat Intellifluence.
Intellifluence vs. Klear:
What’s the point of a pricing page?
What is the point of a pricing page if you don’t show your pricing on it? We were puzzled when trying to find out how much it costs to use Klear and we were met with a form to request a demo – on their pricing page. Our best guess is that Klear is mainly geared towards very large companies. We were able to find some information that suggests Klear offers a startup plan for smaller companies that starts at $245 per month. The problem is, it’s very bare-bones. You are limited to working with 50 influencers and can only initiate 50 searches per month. With Intellifluence, you can perform unlimited searches and work with 150 influencers across three separate campaigns on the Starter plan priced far more reasonably at $99 per month (with extra savings if you opt for an annual plan).
If you’re like us, you have no desire to go through a demo just to see how much something costs (our pricing is transparent and while we offer demos, going through one is never required!). Let’s take a closer look at what happens after joining either platform… Intellifluence is a warm network, meaning each influencer has joined on their own. Why is this important? When performing influencer outreach using Intellifluence, influencers are expecting to hear from you. When you perform outreach using a platform such as Klear, the influencers likely belong to a massive database and receive inquiries from tons of different services – they haven’t necessarily joined these services on their own and might be a little confused at where the inquiries are coming from.
While Klear supports several of the popular social media platforms, we were surprised to discover they do not support networks and services such as Pinterest, LinkedIn, Soundcloud, Twitch, Amazon reviews, iOS, Android and podcasts. For a platform geared towards global companies and enterprises, we would expect to see more platforms and services supported. With Intellifluence, we’ve got you covered.
In summary, if a company doesn’t display their pricing, they are probably too expensive for many brands. We proudly display ours because we are committed to offering a solution for businesses of any size. Platforms such as Klear cater towards the largest companies, but monthly subscription fees for platforms at this level can easily dwarf annual marketing budgets for growing brands. We want every company to be able to benefit from the power of peer influencers so we encourage you to check out our pricing page (again, everything you need to know is right there – we’ve got nothing to hide!) and choose the plan that fits you best.
Intellifluence vs. Webfluential:
The size of the network matters
It’s probably safe to say that if you’re researching influencer marketing companies, you’re looking for access to the largest network of influencers. More than that, you probably want influencers that are familiar with the influencer network and how it operates (and have joined on their own)! While both Intellifluence and Webfluential are both warm influencer networks, meaning Influencers have joined on their own, only one is considered the world’s largest warm influencer network – and that’s Intellifluence!
At press time, Intellifluence features over 50,000 influencers in comparison to Webfluential’s estimate of around 35,000. Additionally, you have more flexibility when it comes to using the Intellifluence Discover tool. Rather than solely create a brief for influencers to pitch you, with Intellifluence you can create a public offer and search the entire network and use Advanced Filters to find the best candidates with ease. As you can see, Intellifluence offers double the effectiveness because influencers can apply to be a part of your campaign while you are simultaneously pitching different influencers!
As with most competing services, the channels supported comes up short when compared to Intellifluence. With Webfluential, you are limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Wordpress. Intellifluence supports these along with LinkedIn, Pinterest, Soundcloud, Twitch, Amazon reviews, iOS and Android marketplaces and podcasts. We are committed to supporting as many platforms as possible, and we’re always looking to hear from you if there’s one we’re missing. We’ve done our research and haven’t found a competitor that supports as many platforms as we do.
When it comes to pricing, Webfluential charges based on the number of influencers in a brand’s network. An example provided on a review site is: “The minimum monthly payment is $50 (and includes the first 10 active influencers); it’s another $5 per influencer after that. Got 78 influencers in your network? That’s $390/mo.” On top of this variable subscription fee, Webfluential charges 10% for content deals that are negotiated and implemented using the system. As you can probably tell, this could get pretty expensive if working with a lot of influencers. Intellifluence charges a flat monthly subscription fee while offering access to the entire network of influencers, without restriction. Also, only cash campaigns backed by the Intellifluence Promise are subject to a 10% fee. Product campaigns are not subject to any charge.
As you can see, we give you options when it comes to social platform support as well as access to a robust network of influencers. In fact, we recently became the largest warm network in the world, so you won’t run out of options when it comes to influencers any time soon!
Intellifluence vs. NeoReach:
How much can you afford to pay?
If there’s one thing that remains constant amongst almost all of our competitors, it’s the fact that you cannot find pricing easily and without hassles. NeoReach is no exception when it comes to a service making you jump through hoops to find out how much it costs. In fact, there’s absolutely no pricing shown on their site – yet another pricing page with no pricing on it! Same as Klear…
The best we can determine is you get 150 monthly searches on NeoReach’s intro plan (Intellifluence offers unlimited searches on ours). If you want unlimited access, you need to upgrade to their Enterprise & API plan. You won’t find pricing for this unlimited option, either (you will with the unlimited Intellifluence plan). If you want to get an idea of how much the service costs, you need to fill out a form and “start a campaign” with NeoReach. If you want to sign up for the unlimited plan, you click the “Let’s Talk” button (sounds expensive already!).
Some light, online research suggests NeoReach is tailored towards large companies with large marketing departments and annual subscription fees can run from $50k to $500k. Additionally, a prominent review site explains that NeoReach has ceased letting influencers opt-in to the service and provides a database rather than a warm network, such as Intellifluence. In a recent blog post, Intellifluence CEO explains the limitations associated with a database versus a warm network: “We’ve all seen the SaaS companies that are essentially a large database of contacts which have never been verified. The majority of “influencers” that exist in such databases often don’t even know that they are on this list, haven’t been vetted for their interests, and as such your outreach to them is no different than any other cold email you might send.”
Intellifluence offers a warm network as an alternative. While a database might list more influencers, those creators that belong to a warm network have been onboarded by the service and are waiting to hear from brands.
If that’s not enough of a speed bump, the same review site made it clear that NeoReach is not an option for small or even medium sized businesses due to the prohibitive subscription costs. If you’re looking for an influencer marketing service for small and medium businesses, you can’t beat the value that Intellifluence provides. With our clear, upfront pricing you will know exactly how much you will pay in subscription fees to use the service each month. This makes mapping out your marketing budget a breeze using Intellifluence.
Intellifluence vs. Julius:
Jumping through hoops to get answers
While we see Julius (formerly Thuzio) features 100% vetted influencers, as Intellifluence does, we were unable to find details on their network size. In doing our research, we discovered Julius only offers annual fee plans – there are no monthly options at press time. If you’re looking to try influencer marketing and want to go month-to-month, you don’t have this option with Julius. Additionally, Julius is yet another service that requires prospective brands to go through a demo call to get pricing details.
Beyond this, Julius seems to offer similar features to Intellifluence when it comes to integrated messaging, managing workflows and so on… The real issue is that once you have gone through the demo call, you will pay a price based on the number of users you’ll want to have access to the software, which can vary dramatically. With Intellifluence, you can view our pricing upfront without having to get on a call (although we’re happy to provide a free demo if you would like one!).
If you’re looking for a network with influencers that have opted-in, you might scratch Julius off your list of contenders as they utilize a database of influencers. Many databases feature unverified influencers that don’t know they belong to a particular “service” and may not be familiar with how the service operates. This can cause troubles for brands looking to run efficient campaigns with little hassle. A warm network such as Intellifluence ensures each influencer has been vetted, has joined on their own and are waiting to hear from you!
While Julius does offer some integrated messaging, we were surprised to read on their site that once the influencer replies to an initial message, the conversation moves to an e-mail client with the chain stored within their app. At Intellifluence, all correspondence is stored within our messaging system – there is absolutely no e-mail required! E-mail is cumbersome and you certainly don’t need more of it in your life. We’re confident you will prefer our simple, streamlined method of communicating with influencers. With Intellifluence, you will be able to track all steps in a transaction from this message thread in the form of a checklist. Out of all of the competitors we researched, Julius seemed to offer the least amount of information for prospective brands, which is unfortunate. Instead of having to sign up for a demo call to get your questions answered, we invite you to head over to Intellifluence to view our simple, straightforward pricing and go with the plan that fits you best!
Intellifluence vs. Upfluence:
What about small and medium-sized brands?
Upfluence advertises smarter influencer marketing solutions, but perhaps unsurprisingly, these come at a cost. While this is yet another example of a platform that doesn’t feature pricing upfront (Intellifluence does!), our research indicated the introductory plan starts at $795 per month with a cap of 500 influencer interactions per month. If you’re looking to expand the number of influencers you can correspond with, you’re going to have to pay for it. Upfluence’s Enterprise plan starts at around $3,500 per month and still doesn’t offer unlimited influencer interactions. Also, there’s a catch: Upfluence subscriptions are sold on an annual basis, so you can’t go month-to-month like you can with Intellifluence.
So, what do you get for this exorbitant monthly subscription fee that is part of a larger annual plan? Upfluence’s database is large, but a database comes with significant limitations. First of all, the influencers have likely not joined on their own – hence the name “database” versus “network.” With a warm network such as Intellifluence, you get access to opt-in, verified influencers that get onboarded so they are comfortable with the system before you start working with them. With a database, the influencer you contact might not immediately know where the inquiry came from.
If you want to get away from e-mail (almost everyone does), there’s bad news: Upfluence utilizes e-mail for communication with influencers. That said, you have the ability to start a private conversation with an influencer within the platform, so it seems kind of redundant to be forced to use both methods of communication. With Intellifluence, 100% of your correspondence with influencers will take place within the system, so you can kiss e-mail goodbye.
There seems to be quite a few limitations, especially when you consider the costs associated with using the service. Adding to this list is the lack of channel support. With Upfluence, you are limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and blogs. Intellifluence goes above and beyond to offer support for LinkedIn, Soundcloud, Twitch, Amazon reviews, iOS and Android marketplaces as well as podcasts.
While larger companies might not balk at the price, growing brands are likely to feel uneasy about an intro plan price that’s close to $1,000 per month (with an annual subscription required). And rightly so! Intellifluence is committed to offering plans for companies of all sizes: from startups to enterprises and everything in-between! Furthermore, we won’t make you jump through hoops to get pricing (and we’ll always offer you a month-to-month subscription option if you’re looking to dip your toes into influencer marketing in the beginning). Last but not least, we’ll never make you resort to e-mail. We invite you to take the guesswork out of budgeting for your influencer marketing expenses and browse our plan options!
Intellifluence vs. Tapinfluence:
Hidden costs and minimum quarterly spends
When it comes to hidden pricing, Tapinfluence is very similar to most of our competitors that hide the costs associated with using their services. Where this platform differs is how much you will pay. According to our research, brands can expect to pay approximately $2,000 per month. If you haven’t stopped reading at this point, hold on because it gets worse. In addition to the monthly cost, you are required to invest at least $25,000 per quarter!
Even large companies might be uncomfortable at trying a service that costs this much, but it’s downright impossible for the vast majority of startups and small businesses to pay much. Also, what happens if a service like Tapinfluence isn’t working out for you? We couldn’t find any details about how you could cancel if things aren’t working out, which isn’t entirely surprising considering their lack of upfront pricing.
A prominent review site explains that once you schedule a demo (like most of our competitors, a demo is required to learn the pricing), you receive a confirmation e-mailing you of the quarterly spend requirement in addition to letting you know that Tapinfluence is an “end-to-end enterprise solution”, which makes sense if you were interested in an end-to-end enterprise solution, but this message is sent even if you want a standard plan. It seems this platform is only tailored towards enterprises and agencies. While Intellifluence can easily support enterprises and agencies, we also offer plans for startups as well as small, medium and large businesses. This means no matter what your company size, you can start using influencer marketing to collaborate with influencers that are verified and have been onboarded. If you ever run into issues, our support team is here to help you at all times.
It seems Tapinfluence is a mixture of opt-in influencers and a database. While the former is desirable, a database comes with limitations. When collaborating with influencers, it’s much more desirable working with those who belong to a network and are familiar with how things work when it comes to that specific network. Like many of our other competitors, Tapinfluence is limited when it comes to social networks that they support. You’ll be able to collaborate with influencers who use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Snapchat but miss out on the additional networks Intellifluence supports such as LinkedIn, Soundcloud, Twitch, Amazon reviews, iOS and Android marketplaces, blogs and podcasts.

Intellifluence vs. Scrunch:
What does double the cost get you?
Scrunch is an exception when it comes to upfront pricing. They offer three different paid plans, starting at $199 per month. Intellifluence on the other hand starts at $99. So, what separates Scrunch’s basic plan from their other offerings? If you pay more, you get the ability to deploy cross-platform campaigns, for starters. Here’s the thing though, Intellifluence enables you to manage cross-platform campaigns at all pricing tiers. You also get unlimited access to their influencer database – at double the cost of Intellifluence when comparing introductory paid plans.
Notice how we said “influencer database?” While Scrunch advertises the ability to discover over 20 million influencers, it’s important to note that these influencers belong to a database instead of a warm network like Intellifluence where influencers are verified and opt-in. This is important when it comes to your influencer outreach. When interacting with influencers in a warm network, they are expecting to hear from you and are more likely to be familiar with the inner workings of a platform.
While a review site acknowledged Scrunch is indeed priced for small to medium businesses, it was also noted that the search feature couldn’t handle parsing the data on 20 million influencers with ease. On the other hand, the Intellifluence Discover tool makes it easy to search our entire network of influencers to find the best candidates using Advanced Filters. When you create a campaign with Intellifluence, these filters are applied automatically so you only see the best results from the very beginning.
If you’re looking to run product-only campaigns, Scrunch is likely not for you. According to their FAQs, they are a paid campaign service only. With Intellifluence, you have the option of running a cash, product or cash and product campaign, maximizing your compensation options. Beyond these limitations, you’re only able to run campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and blogs when using Scrunch. If you want to expand to LinkedIn, Pinterest, Soundcloud, Twitch, Amazon reviews, iOS and Android marketplaces and podcasts, you should consider an alternative such as Intellifluence that gives you a lot of flexibility when it comes to supported social networks.
Campaign costs should be considered when researching Scrunch. According to their FAQs, there is a 20% service fee added to all quotes from influencers on work to be submitted to your campaign. The only fee beyond the subscription associated with Intellifluence is a 10% fee on cash transactions (there is no fee associated with running a product-only campaign). If you plan on running a lot of campaigns with Scrunch, the fees can add up at double the speed of a service such as Intellifluence. Additionally, Scrunch requires brands pay influencers at least $50 per transaction and there is a minimum campaign spend of $250 in whatever the currency of your campaign. These are all things to consider beyond the monthly pricing Scrunch advertises.
