Born in 1984, Diego Bonomo raised in the province of Palermo, where he currently lives. After earning his bachelor’s degree in “Modern languages for the web” at the University of Palermo, he moved to Urbino where he specialized with honors in “Publishing, media and journalism”.
Freelance journalist from February 2012, he collaborates with various online newspapers and from September 2014 is editor in chief of the website of local information [link-omitted]. He’s also involved in sports, following especially football and tennis.
From 2014, looking for new forms of expression to describe reality, he began to specialize in photography. In particular, his interest turns to social reportage, stories of marginality, discrimination, of the action but also success stories in contexts where the failure is the practice.
As photojournalist, he’s specialised in sports photography and travel photography.
Diego is also a travel and photography blogger. On his Instagram account, diego_bonomo_photography, he publishes travel photographies, reportages, sports pictures and he has more than 20 thousand followers.
