Sr Credentialist Administrative Assistant at a Medical Center, I have been applying my nursing and account management skills to ensure the quality and compliance of the credentialing process. I work closely with the medical staff office, the credentialing committee, and the health care providers to verify their qualifications, licenses, and certifications. Nurses are important today because they promote health, educate the public, and provide the care and support that many patients require. I chose a nursing profession because it is a rewarding occupation and there are also unlimited job opportunities. I have always been the "go to " person in my family when I came to assessing difficult situations or providing my time when needed. This is a trait that would be necessary as a role as a nurse. The discouragement I’ve faced with pursuing my nursing education are the challenging economic times and financing higher education. I would like to refrain from having to pay back loans, but the payment plan process is difficult as well, when trying to manage other bills currently in place. I would like to attend nursing school without the worry of balancing my bills and the cost of tuition each semester. In conclusion, obtaining my bachelor’s degree in nursing is my short-term goal, but my long-term goal is to grow and advance in my career. I plan to establish a clear vision, seek opportunities to learn and challenge my knowledge, and to stay up-to-date with new patient care techniques. I’m aware that this journey will be challenging, but I am willing to put my best efforts forward to provide a better lifestyle for my future family. As a recent patient, I found that having great nurses made my time in the hospital easier, because I felt comfortable. I plan to have a lasting effect on the lives I encounter along the way, because becoming a nurse is my calling. Willing to boost your campaign to complete my last year of nursing next fall.
