I'm Kit Prendergast, also known as 'the Bee Babette.' I'm a one of the many #womeninSTEM who are using their skills and passions as a scientist to promote evidence-based ways to make the world a better place! I'm an accomplished scientist, researching native bees, but also have expertise in ecology, anthropology and animal science. I have the cutest dog in the world - a Maremma called Zephyr, as well as my own 'mini zoo'. Outside of my scientific career I am very health conscious, and am a gymnastic, acrobat and dancer.
