Antonio Cortesi works as A&R Manager for Classical & Jazz music in Believe Digital. Passionate about social media and photography he share his music with people online and in live concerts. He graduated with full marks and honours in cello performance and chamber music. After his studies at Accademia Internazionale di Imola with Orfeo Mandozzi he attended master classes with some of the most remarkable cellists of our time like Amit Peled, Hans Jorgen Jensen, Raphael Wallfisch, Hanna Roberts and Natalia Gutman. He collaborated with several musical organizations as an orchestral player (Orchestra Arcangelo Corelli (as principal cello), World Youth Orchestra, Young European Musician Orchestra, Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini, Fondazione del festival pianistico di Brescia, Orchestra città di Ferrara, Young Talents Orchestra E&Y and Roma Tre Orchestra) and many chamber music ensembles. He is also active in other projects of songwriting and popular music. Classical music has never been enough so he brought in his projects a strong influence from pop, experimental and world music. Since 2017 he has been collaborating with the author Giuliano Scabia for the play L'Azione Perfetta. In 2019 made his debut in the theatre performance bliss both as a cellist and actor.
