Yves Gratas

Yves Gratas, one of the few jewellery brand who goes through all the producing process by ourselves. From buying precious stones, making wires, choosing metal plates, to shaping.

We travel all around the world, to South America, to Asia, where we find the stones are more beautiful and colourful than others.
Indeed, our jewelry is made out of gold (18 carat), and precious or semi-precious stones such as diamonds, sapphires, amethysts, tourmaline or pearls. We are the only jewelry makers in Paris who use "the mise en couleur de l’or", a technique that consists of extracting the silver and copper from the surface of the gold metal, in order to reveal the true color of the gold. Another one of our trademarks is to mount some of the stones upside down in order to get a rougher and less symmetrical piece of jewelry. Our costume jewelry is big in the fashion world, we had worked for Agnès B., François Girbaud and Thierry Mugler. We work from our workshop/boutique on rue Oberkampf and specialize in made-to-order jewelry.
Our creations are mostly simple with pure lines, and inspired by the jewels of Antiquity that remains timeless, elegant and delicate.

So, we are mostly interested in receiving craftmanship’s pieces, fashion and lifestyle products :) !
