LB Sickning is a unique and industrious Hip/hop artist, most of all he’s a powerful entrepreneur and entertainer not branded by simple genre labeling. Versatile to say the least LB decisively takes the opportunity to create new music or network with new people consistently. His very words in the “K-Will Interrogation room” define his approach towards his craft “As far as what influences me? …everything, everything I see and hear in life.” A humble, honest, genuinely realistic family man with over 15 years of experience in the music industry, LB Sickning creates music that steps outside traditional boundaries. LB has such a vast collection of music with different methods of delivery. He makes music for anyone that needs it, He has several free albums out to the public including “1 pound” and “another pound”.
With his delivery of the Pounds saga of mixtapes and albums, his philosophy is that if you need a pound of something to get right, make it music instead. This is why he always releases a pound album with 16 tracks. (16 ounces in a pound.) Battling with personal struggles throughout his life and in his neighborhood like many others William turned to drugs and a life of crime at a young age. In and out of incarceration and dealing with addiction he reached a point in his life that he woke up and decided to live a more disciplined life. During his years of creating music LB realized the impact of his music on his son and this inspired him to create an album in dedicated to Rapping without cussing named “no CuZz WordZ” this became a 6 month project that he made available completely free to the public.
Having done well over 400 shows at various Cleveland hot spot venues like the Agora Theatre and Peabody’s since his first debut in “the underground” in 2003. William’s held down the stage time and time again Opening for legendary artists such as; Dizzy Wright, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Tech N9ne, Do or Die, twista, I AM Bizzy Bone, Skatterman and Snugbrim, Lil Scrappy and Hopsin. Besides Bone thugs, Tech and twista, some of LB’s most memorable shows have been with the Kottenmouth kings, Project Born, Prozak, Russet Burbank, Lil Scrappy, Lil Flip and Lil Wyte.
From jamming out in the basement as a young kid under the shadow of his late uncle D, to making his big start with “the frosted Gallows” to reaching the point of gaining support from Double O ENT and eventually creating his own label SicKko ENT with fellow artist RYF, LB Sickning has developed a skillful mastery in adapting to different consortiums. Top of the charts on ReverebNation charts in Ohio he’s made music collaborating with all kinds of different artists such as Blaze Hunter from 9th Wunder music, Spida, Big Tension and many more. Born in Houston, TX, he moved to Ohio at 6 months old hes bounced around from state to state and now resides in Port Clinton , Ohio. LB Envisions casting a unique but Characteristically familiar message with his music, adapting his craft to suit the needs of the world. LB works towards assisting in creating a more harmonized world where people feeling the receiving end life have a easy access to a stronger support system in his music.
