William J Ross is one of the original pioneers who let his imagination dive into the collective experiment we now call "online". His critical mind and insatiable curiosity drives a mind-boggling range and type of IP. He founded 1216 Records in 1999 to self release his own music as the artist Mista White and launched with an electronic music compilation called EMERGE [Vol. 001] with various artists from all over the US. The project was funded and promoted by the artists involved, sort of an early "crowd-funding" project. Also a visual artist, and now a video and film producing student, William always seeks to make every project fresh, honest, and unique. Blending as many creative disciplines into one project always has seemed inevitable. The content has often been about society, culture, government, and the underlying dysfunctions and challenges as individuals. William has been creating visual art pieces IRL like a maniac through Covid and is now curating and developing plans for art exibits and installation experiences. Currently, William is on the down side of archiving, sorting, and making since of the amazing vault of digital and physical content he has amassed in the last two decades. His music releases have resumed - now as THE FIXR. In addition, he is utilizing the technology to the fullest these days to ramp up collaborations, promotions, and even production with apps like BANDLAB. He also has a debut single for his new EDM project "theconnectednessofeverything" called "Beginning to Rise" available July 20, 2021. The moment has arrived for a more steady and far-reaching content releases, streams, and algorithm tapping. William has a few things to say at this point and skills to share for other artists.
