Most of the things I cook on my Youtube channel are either recipes from my childhood or are dishes which I think best represent modern and old fashioned British cuisine. I try to include as much detail as possible in the videos whilst keeping the methods as simple as possible so that you can easily follow the recipe in your own home.
Food forms a huge part of my life and my history and I can often look back on places I have been the people I have been there with and associate that memory with a particular dish.
I also find that cooking food and uploading my videos helps to keep the memory of long forgotten dishes alive. If I can show just one person how to make a dish they remember from their childhood, but could not make themselves, I will be very happy.
I also like to try and develop ways of making a dish better or easier to make and that is where gadgets and ingredients can help.
