A Spectacled Owl is a lifestyle/parenting blog that was started in June 2012. What started out as a hobby blog where thoughts and ideas were shared with a few people, has turned into a place where recipes, crafts, DIY projects, homeschooling tips and travel destinations are shared with many.
I am a homeschooling mom of 3 unique, fun loving kids (two boys, 17 & 8; one girl, 13), based in Southern California. I am an experienced blogger with a love for DIY projects, easy to make recipes, and just about anything to make my hectic life of a homeschooling mom easier. When I'm not homeschooling or working on my blog, you can usually find me exploring Southern CA with my fiancée, doing projects around our new home or planning a family game night.
