Kid at heart Suvi Chisholm lives, works, and creates in Portland, Oregon. Her passions are writing, enjoying outdoor adventures, rainy-night cuddles with her cats, and gardening in the rich Northwest soil.
Suvi Chisholm was born and raised in Oregon and lives in Portland with her husband, their goldfish and two cats.
She attended Portland State University where she attained two majors, in Psychology and Social Science, and three minors, in History, Women’s Studies and Theater Arts. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, specializing in Criminal Psychology.

In her spare time, Suvi enjoys being in the great outdoors that is such a special part of where she lives. She loves hiking, mountaineering, camping, backcountry skiing, and canyoneering. She is a former competitive Scottish Highland Dancer of over 30 years. And loves to travel to exciting destinations around the world.
But it is writing children’s stories that has really captured her heart. From as young as 8, she has dreamed of becoming an author and has finally realized it with three short books for young children releasing in 2020. As she delves into children’s literature, go on this journey with her.
