A native of Sarawak (in East Malaysia), Sheela has been in Management Consultancy, Public Relations and Marketing for over 20 years. She has vast experience in Strategic Alliances and Partnerships, Marketing, Social Media Management, Content Development, Brand Positioning, SEM/SEO, Product Launches, Press Liaison and Public Relations.

A published author, Sheela has been writing since the age of 7 and has won numerous awards for both fiction as well as non fiction works.  Her eponymous blog is a careful curation of thoughts on empowerment, self-love, body dysmorphia and aims to debunk societal stereotyping of gender roles. A (growing) stable of 8300 subscribers bears testament to the relevance, authenticity and popularity of the content she develops. In her off-hours, Sheela avidly seeks out antique books, is an amateur baker, reads a lot, and considers the gym her second home. 

Additionally, Sheela has her own artisan line of clothing, bags and jewelry with clients including Courtney Love, Karen Elson, The Veronicas, Evan Rachel Wood and Imogen Heap.  Her designs have been showcased in Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, Women's Weekly, MTV Video Music Awards (worn by Ms Love), Perez Hilton, the Alan Carr TV Talkshow, Cleo, STYLE, The Straits Times, SIA CREW Inflight Magazine, Seventeen and PEOPLE.

Holding a Masters in Journalism (majoring in Crisis & Financial PR) and a BA in Mass Communications (with an emphasis on Writing), Sheela is a certified Trainer who has spoken at many workshops and conferences. She coaches regularly on the intricacies of Effective Communication, Prospecting, Social Media, Digital Marketing, The Art of Body Language and Speaking With The Press. 

She was also elected into the National Association of Professional and Executive Women for “Women of Excellence" for 2014 and 2015. A respected freelance editorial/personal stylist, Fohr recognised social media influencer for three years running as well as Poshmark Ambassador since 2012, Sheela has a steady following across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest (@sheelagoh).

Sheela sits on the Cybersecurity as well as WHO Committees of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce (2020 and 2021), and actively participates in the organisation's projects with its Women Driving Business arm.  She is also a member of the Greater Houston Partnership (Women's Business Alliance) and the Houston West Women's Chamber of Commerce.  She has been involved with the LinkedIn Mentorship Programme since 2018.
