Samy Beatz is a record producer and mixing engineer based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Samy began to hone his beat making skills in 2011 while he was studying sociology. Every night after completing his course work, he practiced making beats in FL Studio. In 2016, he was admitted to the Audio Institute of Jacmel, Haiti to study Sound Engineering. During his time at Audio Institute, he made his debut into the Haitian Music Industry while working on Kanis' album Enèji. Samy has executively produced several albums in the Haitian Music Industry since graduating from Audio Institute, notably Trouble Boy's PNPPY album. He has worked with iconic Haitian artists such as Boukman Eksperyans. Over the past three years, Samy has developed unique quality sounds that are used in afrobeats, trap, dancehall, kizomba, and compas. In 2020, he began creating and selling sample and midi kits with his unique sound that other beat makers can use to make their own beats. Samy's love for afrobeats has connected him with beat makers all around the world. He began gaining his international client base through his YouTube channel, where he shares his skills with upcoming beat makers through beat making, mixing, and mastering tutorials. Although he is versed in making all types of beats, he is especially drawn to afrobeats and similar genres. He has collaborated with various African producers and would love to work with mainstream afrobeats artists in the future.
