Rob Delport

Rob Delport is a well known Cape Town sports journalist, writer, producer and researcher. You can usually find him on the side of a pitch, interacting with professional sports stars. While his main focus is football, he has covered most sporting codes, especially during his time with the national broadcaster. He is also the South African Head Researcher for the popular Football Manager video game series, and is an avid gamer. Over the past two decades he has tried to blend his two passions - entertainment and sport - and is a budding documentarian. He has produced live productions, as well as video and audio media, and prior to working as a journalist, spent two decades in the entertainment industry, as a writer, director and actor.
