I am a Hip-hop recording artist , Rapper , Singer , Self published Songwriter , Beatmaker , photographer , graphic designer , vlogger & Social media public figure. Born in the inner city of Winnipeg,Manitoba Canada ( The North End , North-Winnipeg too be exact.) Winnipeg is the capital and largest city of the province of Manitoba, and the seventh-most populated city in the Canada with a population just under million , it is a city plagued by extreme Poverty , drugs , gangs , high crime rates, addiction ,prostituion, violent crime , homelessness , racism & inadequate housing .
He began Writing music at the early age of nine and released his first few songs on Youtube at the age of 14 under the alias KonFined(due to his length of time spent in and out of youth correctional facilities at the time.) . For the next couple years he released a couple mixtapes as Don Waun , until the time he was 16 . At age 18 , after being released from turning 18 in a youth correctional center he quickly got back to the music and changed his moniker too "Krooked Barz" which stands till this day ! His Debut Mixtape As "Krooked Barz" was The Overgrind Volume 1 In 2013 ... His 2nd Mixtape was Entitled "Year Of the Grind: Sorry 4 The Wait"( The Double Mixtape) due too a few setbacks on the release of the mixtape , HE treated the fans with a 2 disk tape instead of just one. It turned out to be a 2 disk edition, and was finally released in 2016 .
On Mother's Day Sunday, May 12, 2019. I was going to chill with a friend and his mom before I was going too see my own mom as I was Walking there, I ran into a friend with his girlfriend and their baby. too keep the story long & sort a car pulled up, and the next thing you know, Im getting shot at point blank range and the bullet went right there my leg immediately I was rushed to the hospital where I went , major surgery, blood transfusions, months of recovery.
I'm just grateful that bullet never hit that baby. I think about it everyday, but thank God for music, I have been able to channel my anger into something positive with my work.
After healing up I was right back at work and Krooked Barz returned with his 3rd Mixtape on August 24 2019 ENTITLED " OUT ON BAIL 1.5 : GUESS WHOS BACK 4 NOW ? "
After Just about a full recovery Barz is at work on his 5th Mixtape KROOKED BARZ " THE CHRONIC 20201" THE MIXTAPE IN HOMAGE TO [link-omitted] SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE APRIL 20 2021 4/20 ,
