She has spent her last 20 years researching alternatives to compulsory traditional education and self-directed learning.

As former Vice President of Business Development at One Laptop per Child, MIT originated non-profit organization she worked in over 40 countries giving her a deep understanding of the implementation and impact of EdTech deployments in LatAm and Africa.

She is involved in investigating the possible adoption of open, decentralized solutions based on blockchain and/or other emerging technologies where feasible, especially for the unschooled.
She serves as Regional Ambassador of Education for Latin America of the British Blockchain Association.

She has been nominated for the Excellence in Positive Change award by the Global Thinkers Forum.
