Lani is a hula dancer, acoustic singer~songwriter, award~winning poet & musician living in Hawaii. Her next book, Angel & Hannah, will be released with One World Random House next year. She has traveled & featured at over 300 universities, festival, cultural centers around the world sharing her poetry and music, and was a touring cast member of Russell Simmons Presents: Def Poetry Jam and a featured 3x featured poet on the HBO series.
