Hi! I'm Katie! In my social medias I call myself Epic Kate because I look for the fun and adventure in the mundane. That being said-I don't have a highly polished online presence. I'm all about vulnerability and being real. I'm 34, a working from home twin Mom to very bright 4 year old girls. I'm an expat in Sweden, married to a Swede and my whole youtube/online journey started two years ago out of a place of wanting purpose and connection. It can feel so lonely when you see so many perfect looking, heavily filtered lives out there. I don't have the energy to pretend to be someone I'm not. On my channel I do vlogs and have podcast like conversations with people from all kinds of walks of life. I've had amazing conversations about so many things. Some examples include white privilege, creative burn out and constructive criticism. Another thing that I do is vluns. I run while I vlog- that's vlunning! I'm no athlete by any stretch of the imagination, but I put the effort in for the sake of my mental health. I'm hopeful I'll be able to do a mile without stopping again soon. I'd be so thankful for anything that could make the process more convenient and give others discounts and encouragment in their health journey. I'm currently starting up my own business of not only editing for other channels, but being a creative consultant, cheerleader, and friend in the process. I want to help people find their voice, find their people, and find their confidence. I guess you could say that I'm an influencer to the influencers, but I don't look at people like that. I think having influence is more about serving people from what you've learned than thinking about what you can get out of them.
