Josh Thompson

Josh Thompson is the boys' varsity basketball coach, PE/Business teacher, and FCA huddle sponsor at Barr-Reeve HS in Montgomery, IN. He is happily married to his wife Jayme and they have three children, Jasye, Tye, and Griffyn.

He has been a head basketball coach for thirteen years and spent seven years prior as an assistant coach at various levels. He grew up in Bloomfield, IN and participated in basketball, baseball, tennis, track, and cross-country in high school. He played college basketball at Hanover College. He received my B.S. in Secondary Ed Social Studies/PE from Indiana Univeristy. He holds an MEd. from Olivet Nazarene and an administrative license from Oakland City University.

He enjoys working with other coaches through various coaching organizations. He is the contributing author of "Coaches for Christ" weekly newsletter for the Hoosiers Basketball Coaches Association; hosts a weekly basketball coaches show called "Coaches Round Table"; and is an ambassador for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

He and his family are members of Bethany Christian Church in Washington.
