Joseph has a bachelor's degree in psychology, a minor in Thanatology, and a master's degree in psychology. He is all but dissertation in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, specializing in coaching. Joseph holds a lean six-sigma black belt, is a certified mediator, and has over 15 years of experience in quality improvement and performance management. Joseph currently serves on the Board of Rhode Island Advocacy for Children and the Crown Legacy, Visibility, and Cultural Catalyst Fund. During his time at OHP, Joseph was a Clinical Quality Management ECHO Collaborative Trainer, Chair of the CQM Committee, and built capacity among Ryan White Providers to improve HIV outcomes using clinical quality data. Joseph's public health career has been focused on people living with HIV, those unaware they have HIV, and those vulnerable to HIV.
