Jemima Longcake

Jemima is an intersectional activist and student of Global Health and Social Medicine at King’s College London beginning 2021. She is co-founder of community activist group ‘KASTLE’, has shared work through The BBC, The Edinburgh Fringe, TEDx, The Lowry, and The Oxford Scientist. She is creator of her anthology, Human Nature, play Anomie, and her talk Hope for Communication, pieces that were inspired by her life in Cumbria, as well as her passion for travel. Jemima was longlisted for the National Poetry Competition 2020. She founded the BBC supported Marra-Unity Fund, and The Global Thought Festival, launching in July 2021.
