She studied commercial music business at Azusa Pacific University in her undergraduate studies and is now obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Music Entrepreneurial studies.
Jamie began performing music at the age of 12, playing at popular local venues in San Diego. She began “busking” at the age of 15 and nurtured her solo career as a musician for years by releasing an EP with her band in high school and playing at venues like the House of Blues San Diego, The Hard Rock Cafe, and the Del Mar Fair!
While studying music business at APU, Jamie had a great opportunity to live in Nashville, TN for a semester where she formed quality connections in the industry and experienced music city’s finest.
Jamie now heads Publishing Ventures and Artist Partnerships for Adarga’s roster of international clients.
In her role at Adarga, Jamie works directly with many top music companies including, YouTube, ASCAP, BMI, Pandora, Spotify, CCLI, BandZoogle, Multi-Tracks, Loudr, and Easy Song Licensing, among others.
Jamie is a member of the Recording Academy, Gospel Music Association, Association of Independent Music Publishers, ASCAP, Women In Music, and Music Business Association.
