Growing up I was always taught to work hard, to have great character, and to dream big. I have learned so many lessons by living in a culture of high expectations. While playing competitive volleyball I have learned time management, how to be coachable, how to push through during tough times, but most of all… leadership. I believe that I have proven to the people around me that I lead through hard work, encouragement, and by example. Attending a college that pushes me at the highest level of competition through athletics and academics has been a personal goal of mine for a long time. My goals have always been to maintain a high GPA, to study and work hard in school, and to show leadership on the court and in the classroom. I believe that my strengths will benefit the National Honor Society and in doing so, will ultimately push me to be a better teammate, student, and person.
