A wife to a loving husband, Nico, and mom to a bubbly 9-year-old daughter, Nica. I started my blogging journey in 2014 as Rikx Knows Best and talked about my daily life as a work-at-home-mom, gastronomical adventures, and travels. Unfortunately, I lost my drive and focus so I completely stopped writing in 2017. After multiple transitions and transformations, I decided to write again. This time, I’ll be writing not just stories of our daily adventures but also about how I ended up being a serial mompreneur in my early 20s.
Aside from blogging, I’m also a Freelancer.
When I’m not writing, I’m a Digital Strategist, Social Media Manager, Project Manager, Website Developer, and do photography on the side. This is something I’ve been doing since 2013 and worked with prestigious individual and corporate clients. If you need any of these services, let me know and let’s work together!
Sounds busy? Oh, I’m also a Serial Mompreneur.
In 2016, I co-founded Gawang Kamay PH with my husband. A community brand established to curate local handmakers all over the Philippines through trade fairs. Since then, we were able to pull off more than 10 fairs (including one international fair) until 2019.
Then I pursued my love for cooking and baking in 2019 while I was on blog hiatus. I opened a home bakeshop named Ricanas PH and sold 150 dozens of cookies!
Then, I was granted a chance to level up our existing social enterprise. In 2019, I co-founded Produkto: Home of Filipino Ingenious Entrepreneurs. Originally, our Sparkability Project is to open a Filipino multivendor concept store in Ayala Malls Manila Bay. But the pandemic happened so we had to pivot and switch to e-Commerce last October 2020.
I felt the effects of the pandemic as early as April 2020. Since my events business operations are on hold, I co-founded a fruits and vegetable fresh delivery service Angkat PH during ECQ days.
I’m also a certified Oilbularya and ventured into becoming an official distributor of Young living.
