In the middle of january 2019 I left a life that i did not find fulfilling. I was pursuing an environmental science degree at the University of Pittsburgh, running the outdoor program at school and working as a bouncer at a local bar. After one day of packing and zero days of planning I moved into my subaru outback with $300 in my bank account and a seasonal job lined up in Salt Lake City. I spent that winter living in my car in the mountains and reviewing 2020 model year snowboards at the famed wasatch resorts, building up some savings along the way. In April, I traded the subaru for a 1986 van which I named Pepe and some cash and hit the road full time, Mountain biking and Adventure Climbing in some of the most challenging places in the country. Along the way I picked up a remote job with a really cool startup that lets me work anywhere, and I'm looking forward to taking the digital nomad rock climber life international in 2020.
