Ebenezer Asumang

Ebenezer Asumang is a Writer(Columnist), Speaker, Trainer, Show Host, and an Author. A Consultant with expertise in Development Communication, International Development, and Access to Finance for (M)SMEs.
He has corporate & business experience across multiple sectors (media, banking, NGO, project management, international development) that spans over 15years.
He has authored seven (7) books on Amazon and also written close to a century of published feature articles via his columns: "Sustainability Corner", "Devcom Matters" and "Future of Banking" in the Business & Financial Times, Business24, [link-omitted] and the Development Report Magazine.
He is the Founder and lead consultant at Write2Speak Consulting Limited and SAAMOA Foundation which focuses on SDG goals 15, 13, 1, 3, 4 and 5.
He has been privileged to co-publish in E-journal of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (EHASS) on: “Appreciating the role of Communication in Promoting Sustainable Livelihood: a closer look at some selected literature - 2022. He also co-published in the New Media and Mass Communication Journal on: “Chronicling Country-Specific response to COVID-19 Pandemic in Africa: From the Perspective of Ghana – 2021.
He was awarded Star of the month (August 2021) by the school of Graduate Studies and Research of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) for his oral presentation on the dissertation titled: Assessing the role of Community Radio in promoting Environmental Sustainability in Ghana: a case study of Denkyembour district of the eastern region.
He is a well-sought-after speaker on youth development, access to finance & investment, women entrepreneurship, sustainability and development communication matters on platforms in Ghana and across the Atlantic, and has been a guest on many television and radio stations.
He has consulted for many institutions and individuals in his areas of expertise via his position & capacity as Country Director, Country Branch Manager, Senior Associate Consultant, and Senior Project Manager with 3 International Development Organizations. He also serves on the boards of 5 institutions.
He studied and obtained an MA in Development Communication, MBA in Finance and BA in Social Sciences at the Ghana Institute of Journalism, Open University Malaysia and university of Cape Coast respectively.
