How Curiosity Led Me to Blogging
Yes, it’s true—curiosity is what drew me into the world of blogging. It all started when I noticed some of my colleagues venturing into blogging, largely motivated by the buzz around sponsored ads and link buying, which were very popular at the time. Intrigued, I decided to try it myself and launched my first blog, "Mixture of All Kinds," a platform covering general topics. Within just three months, the blog began generating income. With my earnings, I took a step further and purchased my first domain and hosting, which cost around 1,000 pesos per year.
This was back in 2007, and I soon decided to experiment with different niches using that domain. I created subdomains for various topics, including Showbiz, Celebrities, Games, Science, Electronics, Sports, and Travel, among others. These niches allowed me to generate revenue for several years, but eventually, I chose to focus on one specific area—travel.
Since then, I’ve explored over 60 provinces across the Philippines with my wife. During our journeys, we’ve collaborated with numerous brands, sharing our love for adventure, nature, and heritage in our blog.
Beyond blogging, I also specialize in SEO and Lead Generation, further expanding my expertise in the digital landscape.
