My name is Chaya Milchtein, and I'm an automotive educator and journalist with over half a million followers. I'm an openly queer, fat woman, a former foster kid, and the vast majority of my followers are women. Over 88% are women in fact. My platform is unique in the way I bring my full self to my work, weaving car content with queer love, plus size fashion, travel, and adventure.
I started Mechanic Shop Femme over four years ago, with a goal to educate the average consumer about their vehicle. I don't focus on DIY, but rather on helping folks better understand how to take care of their car, find a mechanic, buy and sell their vehicles, and, perhaps most importantly, what they should be doing at home between mechanic visits. My strategy is working, and my work has graced the pages of publications like the Chicago Tribune, Oprah Magazine, and even AARP (can you believe that!)?
And I want to work with you to put your brand front and center of the very consumers that make the bulk of buying decisions in the US: Women.
