I am a highly educated, eclectic, humorous single woman, who enjoys the many pleasures of life. I run and maintain a humble little blog devoted to beauty and skincare. I review various products that I have purchased from a variety of websites and retailers and offer intelligent insight from the perspective of an average woman.I am not a makeup artist, nor am I a beauty consultant. I am simply a makeup connoisseur and beauty enthusiast who gives thoughtful and objective opinions based on her experience with products. I am a classically trained pianist, an avid reader, an average adult colorer, and an activist for many causes related to social justice & social equality. I also do some freelance writing and have a background in the social services industry as well as drug addiction and rehabilitation. I am a full student at Louisiana State University, working to receive my master's in non-profit management. My availability allows me to concentrate on the most important items first, prioritizing my life and schedule accordingly. I am an engaged and active family member with older parents, older siblings, and an array of nieces and nephews. Over the past two years, I have lost approximately 115 pounds, so maintaining and continuing to improve my health is paramount. I have a shih tzu named Fiona who I rescued from a condemned home.
