Brent Butler is a NYC-based rapper/singer/songwriter, guitarist, producer, actor, and host of [link-omitted]'s, "Popdust Presents." Born in Camden, New Jersey, Brent's eclectic music background and production credits stem from early obsessions with punk rock and creative icons like David Bowie, while growing up in a hip hop-dominated scene. By the time he moved to NYC to pursue music full time, Brent was shifting focus from fronting rock bands to producing beats/rapping/scoring film. Today he is does both, marrying melodic, radio-ready hooks with deft rap verses and self-produced music. In 2015, Brent and Bronx-bred rapper, Deascent, released THE COLD PRESS, a concept-based EP and began touring. This May, Brent is expected to release his debut solo EP, L I L A C, which shows off his full spectrum of abilities.
