Sean and I both graduated from Mercer University with our Ph.D.’s in Education, and it is our background in education that has shaped our views on traveling and on raising our two children. These views directly impacted our belief in creating a blog to document our travels an lifestyle.
Working in the field of education, it did not take Sean and I long to understand how exposure to new experiences drastically influences how children and adults learn. As parents, we want to make sure that our children, Jackson and Lucy, have opportunities to see the world. For a great deal of kids, the higher socio-economic status they are, the more exposure they will have… BUT IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY for those who may not have as many resources. We have made it a point and will continue to make a point to share trips and experiences that can shape both children and adults alike and are hopefully light on the wallet.
Along with travel, Loving Living Green focuses on family cooking and lifestyle. We love to showcase meals that are easy to cook/bake, even on the busiest of weeknights. Our meals can involve an entire family or just a few members and are always simple, yet delicious! We also bring new products and businesses to our readers in hopes that they can integrate those products and businesses into their lives. New and advanced products give our readers opportunities to spend quality time focusing on the important aspects of life rather than focusing on the day to day operations.
