I love getting back to basics and try out ways to do things in a more self-sufficient way. At our current home, we have a flock of chickens and ducks who give us eggs aplenty. I am hoping to add some goats and pigs soon to our little mini-homestead. I wish we had room for cows because I would love to get into home dairy and cheese making! We also put in a large garden every year and I am excited to get my hands dirty this year again.
