My name is Beni Ananto. I am An INFP. I am from Jakarta, Indonesia. I graduated as an English student in 2014. I worked in Jakarta as an education counselor from 2018-2021.
I would like to pour my ideas or anything into writing or blog. I like writing about movies, books, traveling, lifestyle, short stories, novels, poetry, journals, etc. I start writing in 2009 now. I love writing. I hope it will help me to find a balance in life. I want to spread my knowledge or good information to everyone.
I have published some of the anthology books and a solo book. I write short stories and novels published on reading platforms online as Wattpad and Gramedia Writing Project or GWP.
I like watching movies, I watch all genres, my favorite movies are The Lord of The Rings, Seven, Lalaland, Interstellar, etc. I love watching movies anime and Japanese culture. As from Studio Ghibli, Makoto Shinkai’s movie, etc. And now I am learning Japanese. It’s pretty hard but I love it.
I love reading books, especially novels. I like novels by authors like Paulo Coelho, Haruki Murakami, Hemmingway, Leo Tolstoy, etc. I often my opinions about books I read on Goodreads. I joined blogger communities, book clubs, writing clubs, etc.
I try to be a minimalist effect I read a couple of books and documentary programs on Netflix about minimalism. I like to read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo, Goodbye, Things by Fumio Sasaki, and The Joy of Less, A Minimalist Living Guide: How to Declutter, Organize, and Simplify Your Life by Francine Jay. I watched Tidying Up with Marie Kondo and Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things. And all of them have changed my life to be better, work-life balance.
I like listening to music too. Traveling to anywhere, and often solo traveling or going to other places. I like hiking, camping, and activities outdoor. I have hiked some mountains in Indonesia and this year I hiked Rinjani mountain. The landscape is very beautiful.
I have written a couple of books from the government's project in 2020. And to be a contributor writer on a traveling platform online in 2019-2020. I write on a platform online (Kompasiana).
I always write what I do, like, and feel on my blog. I shared my blog or writing to social media as such Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, etc
I have won a couple of short story competitions and published major publishing. I often rejected the publisher when I sent my novels or stories. I try my best for what I do. And always learning day by day and with anything or anyone. I remember the quotes from Haruki Murakami, Kafka on The Shore.
