Ashley Bendiksen is a national motivational speaker, an awarded-recognized activist, nonprofit founder, and consultant. She is a native of Massachusetts, and an alum of Salve Regina University in Newport, RI where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class. With a degree in justice, Ashley previously worked diverse roles in victim services in community, courtroom, and college settings. However, Ashley also has more than 10 years’ of extensive experience in communications and public relations. This earned her two promotions while working in her last job at the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, first into the Press Department, and then serving as Executive Assistant to the DA himself.
Most notably, however, Ashley is known for her work as an activist. She serves on dozens of boards and committees across Massachusetts and has been recognized for her efforts involving women's empowerment, leadership development, domestic violence advocacy, Alzheimer’s research, health and wellness, the performing arts, and philanthropy. She is a public 'face' for numerous causes, serves as a community leader, and role model to women, tirelessly dedicating herself to serving her community and issues at large. This includes serving as President and Founder of a nonprofit theatre company that donates $10,000 annually to charity.
Ashley is also an accomplished writer and media contributor. She is in the process of finishing her first book dedicated to her late mother. She also will be launching a podcast in 2018.
