Hi, I'm Ash! Born and raised in Canada, I now live in Croatia's capital city (Zagreb) where I am studying veterinary medicine. Since beginning this journey, I've started several different outlets through my Vet Abroad channel where I help aspiring students who are considering studying abroad. From volunteering with Animal Rescue and Primate rehabilitation in the Himalaya's, to working as a veterinary technician helping treat and care for pets in the community, I have faced and learnt from many experiences and am happy to share with others. What first began as a blog has extended into YouTube videos where I share my experiences and motivations behind studying abroad and how I have managed thus far. I have also started making tutorial videos on the YouTube channel explaining topics related to veterinary anatomy. There is always a learning curve with these things and I have recently become more comfortable on camera and have many more videos coming soon. I'm also active on TikTok and Instagram where I create videos showing weekend travels, life hacks, and a taste of veterinary student life here in Croatia. I have received lots of feedback and am gaining momentum with every post! In the past couple months I have received over 160,000 views from TikTok alone. Aside from the above, I consider myself to be an open and honest person capable of seeing the positive side of any situation. I enjoy life and try not to let things get in the way of that! I love to appreciate nature. I love to enjoy good food. And most of all, I absolutely love to try new things. Looking forward to connecting with you!
