Alec Sutherland is a queer artist living in New York City. A storyteller since a young age, Alec has self-taught and worked across mediums, most notably with photography, since 2010. His style is influenced by silver screen cinematics, surrealist art, balletic movement, and capturing quiet candor. Drawing from a diverse array of visual sources, his work seeks to create spaces for outsiders through documentation of the queer experience. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Management from Northeastern University in 2019.
