Aero Manyelo or rather known as Eric Manyelo by close friends and family was born in Zebediela, Limpopo, South Africa . His family relocated to Ivory Park, Midrand when he was at the tender age of five (5) where he gradually found his passion for mixing and producing music.
Manyelo jumped ship from conventional schooling to pursue his love of music by enrolling at Johannesburg Central College where he completed his Matric. His quest to break ground in the music industry began when he got his first basic personal computer, which he used to start producing a fuse of genres namely: Kwaito (An indigenous South African genre), House Music and adding an electronic twist to it, bringing a fresh, vibrant and hardcore sound to game. He then printed demos which made it to the doors of Soul Candi, BlackwHole Entertainment, Shelter Music and House Afrika to mention a few.
In 2007 Aero got enrolled to Soul Candi Institute Of Music to study Sound/Audio Engineering after receiving a bursary from the institute. That was the year Aero Manyelo simultaneously got recognition from BlackwHole Entertainment through which he released his first vinyl (EP) titled: Herbal Island.
