Professional vocalist & pianist “Tami from Miami” has been a performing & recording artist since the age of 16. She is the winner of numerous competitions, awards, & fellowships and scholarships including a scholarship masters degree to the prestigious New England conservatory in Boston, doctoral fellowship to direct “women in the arts” at UConn, CT, and a citation from the Connecticut state assembly for her music in charitable work of over 20 years in the community. She currently serves on the board of New England Conservatory’s cultural equity counsel. She attended Hebrew college in Brookline, MA.
Notable Engagements include guest soloist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra for two concerts at the Bushnell, Broadway, opera, religious & Klezmer concerts throughout Florida, California, Massachussetts, Connecticut, New York & Rhode Island, professional recording.
She serves as Cantor/music director for Congregation Ahavath Achim in Connecticut. Tami has 5 boys, a Boston terrier, rabbit and various foster pets at home with her husband, Rabbi Dr Aaron.
