American Impressionistic Artist, Susan Jenkins, fell in love with drawing, painting and anything to do with color as a young girl. Combining her love for computer graphics and art, she majored in Graphic Design from the University of North Florida, and was awarded the title of "most outstanding artist" at graduation.
Her love of fine art unfortunately had to be put on the back burner for a season in her life to focus on family and making financial ends meet. However, she was able to reclaim her passion for art later in life as she excitedly searched for anything she could learn online. Her struggle to find valuable instruction and information became her passion to create a way for other hungry artistic souls to be able to learn art from the convenience of their homes… and thus, Monet Cafe' was born.
Susan's YouTube Channel, Monet Cafe' currently has over 70,000 subscribers from all over the world, over 700 FREE lessons, and nearly 4,000,000 views. She has nearly 10,000 lively followers on Instagram and enjoys creating reels and creative content.
Susan’s success as an artist has awarded her as one of the top 30 pastel artists in the world who will be teaching at the worldwide event, Pastel Live, in 2022.
Susan feels blessed to bring free art instruction to many who would never have the means to learn about pastel painting. The success of Monet Cafe has been more about the people and the beautiful stories of aspiring artists who are finally getting a chance to pursue their dreams.
