Sasha Friedman

Sasha Friedman is an 11 year old singer, recording artist and cancer survivor. Many of her songs revolve around self-worth and resilience, and are inspired by her personal experiences and care for others. At the age of 9, she was noticed by producers Cory & Julia Shuman of Little Bird Big Sound through social media. Since then, she has been recording music, and her first single single, Free To Be Me was released on June 9th, 2023, and Memory Tonight released Dec 15th 2023, debuting at #7 on iTunes Pop Charts. Sasha's compassionate nature has consistently driven her to help those in need and make them feel special. She brings joy to those around her and possesses a strong connection with both humans and animals, showing particular empathy towards those facing difficulties — Something she knows about all too well. When she was 10 years old, she was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing sarcoma, a bone cancer that had spread to her neck, arms, legs, and lungs. Despite the physical toll of the cancer, Sasha maintained a positive attitude, recovering quickly after each treatment and leaving doctors amazed. Her love of music played a significant role in her journey, transporting her beyond her pain and hospital bed to anywhere we wanted to be. Today, Sasha is in remission and is shifting her focus back to doing what she loves — recording music. In her upcoming singles, listeners will hear the emotion in Sasha's voice — painting a picture of her journey, and her newfound mission to spread hope and positivity.
