SANAM, the Band

Sometime around in the year 2012 when independent content was breaking the internet, a group of four supremely talented musicians uploaded their first original song ‘Teri Aankhon Se,’ unleashing a brand-new wave of boy band fervor. Collectively known as Sanam- the four artists came together, united by a common love for making music, is the first band from India to have 5 million (and counting) subscribers and about a Billon life time views on Youtube!

A lesser known fact about Sanam is that they were originally called The SQS Project and under that name, the band had won the title ‘Times Music Supastars’ in 2010 and thus began their journey. Eight years on, Sanam is holding the torch of independent music and inspiring young artists with their story.

The band is composed of 4 members: Sanam Puri (lead vocals), Samar Puri (lead guitar), Venky S or Venkat Subramaniyam(bass guitar) and Keshav Dhanraj (Drums).
