Hello! For the past 13 years I have worked at my local elementary school as a teachers assistant. My job doesn’t pay much but I love doing it. When I am not working with other people’s children, I am with my son’s and husband. More about me, I suffer from anxiety and one of my stress relievers is cake decorating. I am a self taught hobby Baker. I have been decorating cakes since 2010. If I can find an excuse to make a cake, I will find it! When I have time. I also love to make crafts, and gift baskets. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. It is a super busy time for me. My family is also part of our local fire station, so we are always busy out in our community. On another note, I have had some health issues, which had made my family and I change our life style. In 2014 I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor. It really messed my body up. The tumor diagnosis also lead to finding out that I had a hypothyroid. 2014-2016 were very rough years for me and my health. In May 2016 my tumor ruptured, causing me to being rushed to the hospital for emergency brain surgery and tumor removal. The doctors weren’t sure if they could restore my vision or even remove the tumor. It was so scary but lucky everything worked out. After surgery my body took quite the toll. I gained almost 200 pounds. Between being on steroids for two years, and all the other medicines I was on that increased weight gain, and having a doctor that just didn’t care and treat me properly, I was depressed and devastated. Then I found Anna on YouTube. (Glitter and Lazers) she inspired me to be the best me I can be and then I decided I wanted to look my best as well. I like to dress fashionably, and I have been told by many people that for a plus size woman, I dress and carry myself very well. I started playing around with make up more, finding my own style. Then in 2018 I was diagnosed as a diabetic. That’s when I decided to make a change for my health because I watch my mom struggle with diabetes, I went to my doctor to discuss weight loss surgery. After my orientation at the hospital, I started to document my journey and my family and I changed our eating habits. We eat more keto type friendly recipes and have all around started eating more health. I had gastric bypass in August of 2019. I am documenting my weight loss journey on my YouTube channel. All the struggles and wins! I don’t hold anything back. In my spare time, after my domestic goddess duties, I spend time with my family, and I love to go shopping. Some of my favorite stores are Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Torrid, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Spirit Halloween, ACMoore, Old Navy, Ulta, Ross, TJ Maxx, Burlington, Target and Wal Mart. I do shop online, I use the Wish app for all my cake decorating supplies, and of course amazon. Because of my weight loss surgery, I have been using Poshmark as well to sell some of my larger sizes clothing that still has a lot wear left in them. I also try to hunt down the best prices for clothing and cheaper, yet stylish clothing because I am going through sizes quickly. Omg, and shoes. My shoe size has already gone down 1/2 size. So I am looking for reasonable and stylish shoes, in case my shrink some more in the process. I guess that’s it. Hope you enjoyed reading about me
