In a few years, R.O has become a very important artist of the Belgian electronic scene. Influenced by several musical genres like hiphop, bass music, and all kind of sounds from around the world, he has developed a strong hybrid style signature and is well known for exploring lots of different type of music and making it his own.
Eclectic and multi instrumentalist, he draws inspirations from artists as varied as Flume, James Blake, Tennyson, Mr Carmack, Sophie just to name a few but also heavily influenced by movie scores and composers. In a general sense, he puts a lot of importance in the melodies and the feeling that they convey as well as having fun with crazy sound design and heavy beats.
Since 2014 he has played in notorious clubs and festivals, sharing the bill with some of his inspirations like Madeon, Pretty lights, Jacques, Jauz. His music has also been played by artists he really looks up to such as Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis and NGHTMRE
His skills are often requested by others and is working behind the scene on various popular projects, with various singers and rappers. His first featuring with Konoba hit more than 32M views on youtube, and did official remixes for Lost Frequencies, Method man, Point Point,… . He’s also constantly reworking and sampling a lot of French (and US) hiphop celebrities like Damso, Lomepal, Hamza, Romeo Elvis. His remixes won 2 Red Bull music Awards in 2017 for Romeo Elvis and Damso remixes.
He just went back from a 10 months tour where he composed music around the world with his friend Konoba.
