Nomi is the embodiment of a Swiss success story. Born in Zurich, Switzerland to a Venezuelan- Portuguese mother and a Swiss- South African father, it is no wonder this exotic beauty possesses both an excitement for life and the hard- working ethics that cultivate sensation. While her diverse background helped to catalyze her career as a dancer and model, it is her strength of will and entrepreneurial spirit that paved the road to achievement as an activist and director. Trained as a professional and classical dancer in Europe, Nomi’s modeling career began in 2008 when she was discovered while dancing in Paris. Soon after, she landed a photo-shoot for Playboy. That same year she became the first Swiss centerfold to model for Playboy magazine. As of 2015, Nomi is the only Swiss model to have appeared on the cover of Playboy five times. In 2010, at the peak of her modeling career, Nomi founded Babes Management, a talent agency representing and providing models with opportunities in editorials, advertising, conventions, commercials, TV, films and VIP events. After years of success in the European market, Babes Management expanded worldwide into [link-omitted], a fashion label for women. The company was sold in 2013. Nomi continues to nurture her career as a dancer and choreographer. In 2013 A-list director Michael Bay hired her to train Russian-Israeli model, Bar Paly, to portray an exotic dancer in his blockbuster hit, PAIN AND GAIN, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and Anthony Mackie. Nomi confirmed that the task was a challenge as Bar Paly began instruction without any background in dance, but the work turned the two into good friends. The outcome was clearly visible on the screen as “Pain and Gain” became a box office success and received critical acclaim. “They did a super job.” - Michael Bay. After finding a new passion within the film industry, Nomi served as an associate producer for IT SNOWS ALL THE TIME, starring Taryn Manning. In 2018 Nomi will make her directorial debut with SWEET 16, a film based on the true-life events of a young, American woman serving a life sentence for murdering her sex trafficker. As a female filmmaker and activist, Nomi is devoted to ending the epidemic of sex trafficking and helping the people who suffer its’ consequences achieve justice.
