I want to inspire the entire world. I was permanently deafened in 2014 after I sustained a skull fracture at the hands of an abusive partner, and that loss became the catalyst that lit a fire in my soul. I own 2 businesses, Blackbird Media- a company that provides branding and content creation services, and Blackbird Press - a small publishing house that publishes 10-15 books per year. I am a published author with a Facebook following of over 100,000 people; I released my debut book, As Muses Burn in 2020, my second book, Red, is scheduled for release in October 2022, and I’ve been published in multiple anthologies and publications all over North America. I am an idea person above all else, and I believe in challenging the status quo. I like complexity, big ideas, small blessings, unexpected beauty. I prefer wisdom to knowledge, midnight to noon, coffee to tea, and interesting to predictable. I don’t believe in stagnancy or absolutes, and generally speaking, anyone who draws a hard line against anything will probably find me on the other side of it. I do believe in kindness. In the human spirit. In hope. I believe in being teachable, and never running out of room to grow.
