Michelle lee

My name is Michelle, based in Los Angeles. I am born in Hong Kong and moved to the UK when I was 12. After studying there for 9 years, I decided to move to Philadelphia for my Master's degree in Biotechnology. I am currently working on biotech/ healthcare research as my full-time job. I am passionate about food and cooking and have self-taught/ improvised since 5 years ago, therefore decided to create my foodie instagram 2 years ago. Since then, I have met a lot of great foodies/influencers in this community/ industry. To me, it is about this relationship and connection that matters as I am planning to do business in the food & beverage industry in the near future. That would be the best job for me being able to work for myself and something I have so much passion for. I am also hoping to open up a lounge/ bar, to make good use of my bartender license that I have gained through a 1-month bartending course in Barcelona, as well as the WSET wine course I have had in London.

Given my experiences growing up, I definitely enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures whenever possible! I have been to more than 20 countries and am still looking to grow my list! The living experience in London has well defined my fashion style to be a little more upscale and formal. In my opinion, it really is the vibe of the person that determines the value of the clothes so make that $10 top like it's $100 right! When it comes to health and beauty, who doesn't like makeup and skincare products that make you look prettier!

As side hobbies, I like making cards and other handcrafts. I go to the gym regularly to make sure I stay relatively in shape given I love food so much ;)
