A visionary entrepreneur and creative mind, Madhuri Lakkapragada is the owner of The M&R Handmade Studios, an Etsy store specializing in unique, handmade products. Passionate about craftsmanship, she curates a collection that celebrates creativity and authenticity. The M&R Handmade Studios Instagram page has grown to over 1,400 followers, engaging a passionate community of handmade enthusiasts.
Madhuri’s entrepreneurial journey began long before her Etsy venture. She is the Founder and former CEO of Urban Factory, a women’s clothing brand launched in 2015, aimed at bridging the fashion gap by bringing trendy apparel to markets like India. Urban Factory made an impact, but due to unforeseen family medical emergencies following the tragic loss of her firstborn, Madhuri made the heart-wrenching decision to close the brand in 2016. Despite this, her passion for entrepreneurship and creativity remained unwavering.
Now, as a mother, mentor, and businesswoman, Madhuri continues to inspire through her daughter Medha’s journey as a young author and entrepreneur. Together, they are empowering young creators and future leaders.
