Manuel Canseco is a photographer from Veracruz. He studied at the Lumiere Film Institute and has largely trained as a photographer, although he has had the opportunity to learn from photographers such as John Sevigny and Brenda Islas.
He has developed personal projects focused on portrait, documentary, street, concert, and escenic art photography. He has had four solo exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions.
He has worked on projects such as the Xalapa Memory Archive, where he took portraits of searching groups, and was the official photographer for the Volare International Festival. He has also collaborated with musicians, theater, and dance companies, and is a co-founder of the Orizaba International Film Festival (FICO). He currently works as a freelance photographer.
