Maluhia Duro

Welcome! My name is Maluhia Duro, I'm originally from Maui, Hawaii, and currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Information Science and eSociety, along with a minor in Marketing and Public Relations. Over the years, I have gained experience in graphic design, social media management, and have continued working with various businesses and nonprofits in these areas. In addition, I thoroughly enjoy brand ambassador and promotional work as it allows me to connect with others and share my passions in hopes of improving others lives as well.

My journey as a brand ambassador began with the Miss Universe organization. Becoming a crowned title holder also came with a significant responsibility to uphold and maintain a high national standard which jumpstarted my passion for promotion and involvement in marketing.

I have had the opportunity to work in a wide range of events, from highly professional environments to more casual atmospheres. This has allowed me to work with diverse demographics, resulting in successful sales and satisfied customers. As an outgoing individual, I constantly strive to represent the brand effectively, prioritize customers' needs, and always exude my Aloha spirit, creating memorable experiences for all.

In recent years, I have developed a deep appreciation for promotion within the food and beverage industry. This led me to work as a brand ambassador for Deschutes Brewery, Boneyard Brewery, and Honeymoon Ice Cream at the Tucson Beer Festival, as well as other events.

Whether it's trade shows and convention centers or festival and concert venues, I adapt seamlessly to different settings. Each experience is unique and has allowed me to engage with numerous individuals while achieving successful sales and customer satisfaction. The most fulfilling aspect of these roles has been interacting with customers and representing the companies I've worked for.

I continuously strive to further enhance my skills and expertise in the areas I'm passionate about. This involves staying updated on industry trends, participating in relevant workshops and conferences, and actively seeking new opportunities to expand my portfolio. Additionally, establishing a strong professional network within the marketing and promotional field can open doors for collaboration and growth.
Overall, I bring a combination of skills, passion, and a customer-centric approach to the promotional and marketing industry. My commitment to showcasing the Aloha spirit, professionalism, and creating exceptional customer experiences makes me a valuable asset.
